INTRODUCTION

The following constitute the terms and conditions to which trainees agree when booking any GidiSync training (Terms and Conditions). GidiSync reserves the right to review and update these periodically. This page is used to inform GidiSync learners who are enrolled in any of the GidiSync training programs (virtual or physical training) about our trainings, refund, cancellation, and deferment policy.

Definition of terms
Training package: This refers to the selected training service.
Cohort: This refers to a group of trainees on a selected training package for a specified period.
Start date: This simply means the date a training will start.
First Session: This refers to the first class held within a cohort.
Second Session: This refers to the second class held within a cohort after the first session.

GidiSync training Policy
  • • Terms and conditions within this document contractually binding between GidiSync Solutions LTD and the Student

  • • This agreement, and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to this agreement or its formation (including any non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.

  • After booking onto a training, you will be given access to the study site. By using the site you agree to these terms and conditions.

  • • Whilst we make every effort to keep changes to the training to a minimum, we reserve the right to make any amendments to the terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes affecting our business, including but not limited to, changes in technology, payment methods and legal and regulatory requirements.

  • • Ownership and intellectual property rights All learning materials provided by GidiSync on the site, are owned by GidiSync. All intellectual property rights in all materials available, including the PowerPoint slides, graphics and text of all printed materials and the audio of all training, are owned by GidiSync. When you are given access to the site, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the materials. No content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without GidiSync’s prior permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of GidiSync’s intellectual property rights.

  • • GidiSync reserves the right to remove any student from a training whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate by GidiSync or its trainers. In these circumstances, GidiSync will neither refund any fees nor reimburse any other costs.
  • • GidiSync does not warrant that the provision of any content online will always be available or be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected or that such content is secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors and omissions.
  • • Joining instructions including an outline of the day will be available prior to the training start date via the study site. GidiSync will not be held responsible for non-receipt of joining instructions and refunds will not be issued under such circumstances.

REFUND, CANCELLATION, AND DEFERMENT POLICY
Training Cancellation

By completing your registration for a training and making a payment of full fee, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

  • • You have the right to cancel your booking by requesting “training cancellation” no later than ten working days before the training start date. Cancellation will attract a 25% administrative fee of the total training amount. Training start dates are publicly published on our website under the booking section and made available to all students.

  • • Students who pay for a training late (that is lesser than ten days before the start date) cannot cancel or defer their training once the training's cohort has started.

  • • GidiSync reserves the right to reschedule a training cohort. Reschedule will be communicated no less than two working days of the scheduled start date of the cohort.

  • • Cancellation of a training after the start date will attract no refund and students will be obliged to complete the training program which has been started.

Changing Training
  • • Students can only change training on or before the first session of the original training cohort the student registered for. Change of training package will attract an administrative fee of 25%.

  • • To change a training package, the student will have to reach out to the GidiSync Training team stating why the student wishes to change the training no later than 24 hours before the second session.

  • • New training package cohort must be within nine months of the start date of original booking.

  • • Difference in price between training packages will be charged for any changes to training package. Rebates are not permitted.

Training Deferment

Students who wish to defer their training can do so under the following conditions:

  • • Defer under the terms and conditions of “Changing Training”

  • • Defer no more than two cohorts from the original booking, under the same training package.

  • • Difference in price between new cohort and the original cohort for the same training package. Rebates are not permitted.

  • • Deferment not in line with the terms and conditions above will result in a forfeiture of the amount paid for the training.


Training Access

• A student is only allowed to have access to the learning platforms provided by Gidisync for the duration of three months or two months after completion of the training whichever is greater. All rights and access to the platform will be removed after the stipulated.


• Access must not be shared and content must not be duplicated in anyway, shape or form.


Incentives
  • • GidiSync provides an after-training support of a total of 2 hours(for Cybersecurity Fundamentals training) and 5 hours (for all other trainings) within 3 months.

  • • Social network of professionals within the rely on and help advance in the field of cybersecurity.

  • • Internship opportunities are provided to some students based on availability, performance, and attitude to further their learning.

Attendance and Certifications
  • • Certificate of attendance and after training support will be provided if the following conditions are met
    •           o You must have at least a minimum of 90% attendance for all training sessions.
    •           o Evidence of completion of all lab work in stipulated time limit.
    •           o 60% pass mark in the final test of the training.
  • • Attendance of our training does not warrant the following:
    •           o Offer of employment either from GidiSync or any other employer.
    •           o Passing or securing a professional qualification.
    •           o Referencing or referrals from GidiSync.
    •           o Use of our company as an employer on your CV, social media profiles or job applications.
